In case you wondering, Zach did shave his beard off during Vampire Weekend’s last song, and then wore a fake beard during the closing.

R.I.P. Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse

Rolling Stone reports that Sparklehorse lead singer Mark Linkous has committed suicide. Linkous released six albums with Sparklehorse, beginning with 1995’s Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot. Linkous recently collaborated with producer Danger Mouse on the Dark Night of the Soul album.
